Hello Everyone

Jody here...

Let's set some mutual expectations for our weekend together. It's been a while since most of us have been on a trip with a bunch of people, let alone a bunch of warm and welcoming women loving women?

Pretty exciting, isn't it?

To honor everyone's experience...

I am requesting that if you attend this weekend, you agree to and abide by these guidelines. I have personal liability for what goes on at our retreat and there is no emergency medical staff.

Covid Guidelines: Unvaccinated women will stay in their own sections within cabins. We will follow CDC guidelines and cancel only if they require it. We trust that you will take care of your own needs. If you have particular concerns and feel you must stay in a vaccinated only cabin, I'm sure we can arrange that.

General Guidelines:

While you are up in the mountains, please be mindful of the space around you. We are in such beautiful surroundings and we would like to leave it impeccable so please be mindful of this and clean up after yourselves.

Please honor the Pali guidelines of low volume past 10 PM as some folks will be going to sleep earlier than others. Afterall, there will likely be early morning activities like yoga or perhaps a meeting or activity.

Be thoughtful about honoring each other's personal space. Some of us need more than others. Covid has made us all a bit more awareness of this.

There will be kids involved in their own programs when we are at Pali. We should not run into them much as we will have our own dining area.

Alcohol & drug use: please do not bring any illegal drugs whatsoever.  As far as cannabis and alcohol are concerned, I do not anticipate this weekend to be a party scene as would other types of weekend getaways. That being said, if you choose to partake, please be very discreet and keep your activities confined to your cabin. If you choose to have a special beverage with a meal, please be prepared to bring a travel mug so you can be discreet. Do not bring any bottles or cans to the dining hall or outside on the grounds.

Who is welcome:

We respect all individuals regardless of ethnic background, race, religious or spiritual affiliation, and gender identity within our group guidelines which is that you identify as a woman loving women. To be more specific, you are lesbian, bi,  trans woman, pansexual and non-binary folks who were assigned female at birth. Sorry to have to exclude anyone but I am doing my best to please the majority.  If anyone present makes you uncomfortable, we ask that you simply take space from them. There will be plenty of space all around to do so.

Please report any concerns to retreat staff.  Most of all, please have an amazing time and encourage others to do the same!

If there any issues or concerns before or during our weekend, please speak to me, Jody, or Melissa.
